Hi, I’m Fraser Penny, Director of Wastewater Systems Servicing.
If we haven’t met yet, let me start by saying this: I’d usually rather be out servicing a system than writing about myself! But since my partner Janine (who’s been helping me pull this website together) insists that people like to know the person behind the business—here’s a little about me.
My Journey
My work history is broad and varied, but one thing has always stayed the same: my love of working with people from all walks of life. Friends and family often call me MacGyver, mostly because I enjoy problem-solving and finding practical solutions where others might give up.
Family, friendships, and strong connections are incredibly important to me. I’m especially proud of my daughter, Jasmine, who has a passion for dance and has followed her calling to work as an Occupational Therapist—a career where she gets to make a real difference in people’s lives, something I deeply value myself.
The same care and commitment I bring to my own family and friends, I also bring to my work. When you trust me with your wastewater system, you’re not just getting a technician—you’re getting someone who genuinely cares about supporting people and making sure things are done right.
Community Work
Giving back has always been important to me. Many years ago, I became the Chairman of a community organisation supporting parents through separation, with a strong focus on putting children first. I dedicated ten years to this role, counselling parents and working with community groups to make a difference for the next generation.
This path led me to train and work as a Lifeline Counsellor, a role I held for four years—further cementing my belief that strong, clear, and compassionate communication changes lives.
Hands-On Experience
Around nine years ago, I became an accredited wastewater system service technician, and since then I’ve worked across a wide cross-section of more than 300 systems.
Seven years ago, I decided to go out on my own for both stability and professionalism—and I haven’t looked back. Over this time, I’ve built strong working relationships and gained the trust of leading manufacturers, who now recommend me as their go-to service technician.
This experience has given me not only technical knowledge across many different systems but also the ability to find practical, long-term solutions that keep systems running smoothly and reliably.
Training & Philosophy
Seven years ago, I completed the Landmark Forum (a Personal & Professional Development Program) and later became a course supervisor. The biggest lesson I took away—and one I bring into my business daily—is that informed communication makes a huge difference.
That’s why I make sure every customer not only gets their system fixed or maintained but also understands what I’m doing and why. My clients appreciate being kept in the loop—it builds trust, confidence, and peace of mind.
A Personal Note
At the end of the day, if the s*#t hits the fan (literally!) or you’re up the creek without a paddle, you can count on me to go out of my way to get your system running again—ASAP.
Cheers,
Fraser
